HOME & FACTORY STABILIZER GUIDE

Need a stabilizer for home or factory, but unsure of kVA?

Start with the appliances or machines you want to protect. We will help turn that list and your voltage problem into a suitable servo stabilizer specification.

A SIMPLE START

What to tell us for each setting.

HOME

List appliances used together

For example: ACs, refrigerator, pump, lights and other loads. Share the appliance ratings if known, whether the whole home or just selected circuits need protection, and the usual voltage problem.

FACTORY

List machines used together

For example: motors, CNC machines, compressors or test equipment. Send electrical input nameplates, phase, starting loads and whether all machines run at the same time.

In both cases, tell us if your supply is single or three phase and the lowest and highest input voltage you know. If you do not know the voltage range, describe the problem and have a qualified electrician measure it.

Three details that make sizing easier.

01

What runs together?

The total of simultaneous loads matters more than the total count of every appliance or machine on site.

02

What does the nameplate say?

Look for kVA, electrical input kW, volts and amps. HP alone does not state electrical input kVA.

03

How does voltage vary?

Share the lowest and highest incoming values, required output and whether different phases vary independently.

HOME OR FACTORY

Start with what you use.

Choose your setting and add the appliances or machines used together. The tool shows an estimated running load when you have enough information, then lets you send the details for a suitable stabilizer recommendation.

Only know HP?

HP is mechanical output. Motor efficiency, power factor and starting current also matter. Send us a nameplate photo or the input voltage and current instead of converting HP directly to stabilizer kVA.

Where will you use it?

Get a quick running load estimate

Choose how many of each appliance run together. The result uses broad planning assumptions and may differ from your actual models. Share a nameplate photo when you enquire for a more accurate review.

AC (each)
Refrigerator
Water pump
Fan (each)
Lights / TV / other group

This estimates running load only. Motor or compressor starting current, power factor, input voltage range and site wiring can change the required stabilizer rating.

Already know a total electrical rating? Use it instead.

For three phase, enter line to line voltage and the highest running line current. Starting current, simultaneous loads, supply range, phase balance and duty need review before selection.

HOW THE ESTIMATE WORKS

Running kVA is a starting point.

For a single phase load, apparent power is volts × amps ÷ 1,000. For a balanced three phase load, it is √3 × line voltage × line current ÷ 1,000. If you have electrical input kW and measured power factor, kVA = kW ÷ power factor.

For example, a balanced three phase machine drawing 30 A at 415 V has an estimated running load of about 21.6 kVA. That number is the load estimate, not a promised 21.6 kVA stabilizer selection. Starting current, other loads, actual voltage range and the stabilizer design still need review.

Common questions

Can I choose a stabilizer from HP alone?

No reliable electrical input kVA follows from HP alone. HP describes motor mechanical output; electrical input depends on efficiency and power factor. Share the motor nameplate or input current.

What if I do not know my site's voltage range?

Tell us the usual supply voltage and when the problem occurs. A qualified electrician can record the lowest and highest values at the relevant supply point. Do not measure live panels yourself unless trained and equipped to do so.

Should I add every machine's kVA?

Tell us which machines run at the same time and which have high starting current. A simple total can misrepresent the actual demand and phase loading.

ASK A MANUFACTURER

Not sure? Send what you know.

Tell us whether this is for your home or factory, what needs protection, what runs together and how the voltage varies. Share ratings, phase and your city if known. We will review the application before quoting.

Your specifications go directly to Satyajeet Electronics. No price is final until we confirm the build.
